PGNIG demands price revision from Gazprom in Stockholm court
MOSCOW, May 14 (PRIME) -- Poland’s Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNIG) has sent a lawsuit against Russian gas giant Gazprom to the Stockholm Arbitration Court demanding a price revision because the situation on the European energy market has changed much lately, the company said in a statement.
The sum of the claim and the court ruling date were not disclosed.
“There is no wonder, the possibility of an arbitration litigation is included into standard contracts but the negotiations usually continue,” a source in Gazprom’s affiliate Gazprom Export told PRIME.
